In general No, however there may be special instances where it will be necessary to accompany a passenger through the Security Checkpoint.

It is your responsibility to check with the applicable embassy or consulate whether the destinations that you are visiting requires a visa. It is also important to include all transit points of your journey, which may also require you to obtain a visa. Please note that many countries require that your passport is valid for six months. 

The terminal information will also be detailed on your itinerary. 

When checking in for domestic flights within Jordan arrive at least 60 minutes prior to travel. When checking in for international flights, arrive at least 2 hours prior to travel.

Prohibited items are weapons, explosives, incendiaries, and items that are seemingly harmless but may be used as weapons - the so-called 'dual-use' items. Please contact us if you are unsure whether an item is prohibited.

The following list covers most things you will need to think of before leaving for your trip:

For domestic flights, your e-ticket reference number and valid.

For international flights, your e-ticket reference number, passport and correct visas if required. 

Baggage allowances can vary by airline and destination. Here is a guide to standard allowances (to confirm allowances for your flight booked, please refer to your ticket or contact the airline you are flying with)
Cabin baggage: The following items CANNOT be carried in your hand baggage: Toy or replica guns (plastic or metal) Catapults. If there is a medical reason that passengers need to inject themselves during the flight (e.g. diabetics) they are permitted to carry syringes in the cabin. They may be asked to produce medical evidence when they check in or at the security screenings (a doctor's letter will suffice). This should be kept with them at all times.
Checked in baggage allowance: The standard allowance is 20kg per bag

If you bring a prohibited item to the checkpoint you may be criminally and/or civilly prosecuted or at the least asked to rid yourself of the item.

Some Prohibited Items may be detained for use in an investigation and if necessary as evidence in your criminal and/or civil prosecution. 

You will be asked to step through a metal detector and surrender any luggage/loose metal items to go through an x-ray machine to check for prohibited items. 

 For all international travel a valid passport is required to pass through airport security and customs. 

We recommend that you carry the itinerary confirmation at all times when you travel. The booking reference is only useful until you receive the itinerary and it alone will not be suitable to use when travelling for checking in as it is a House of Travel reference only. 

You will need Identification and at most airports, a boarding pass to pass through a Security Checkpoint.
